Farms & Ranches Enabling people with Disabilities, March 3, 2012, Manhattan Beach, CA
The Second Annual Special Place Race will be held in Sept., 2012. We had rave reviews about how much fun racers had in 2011. The Race is an exciting, high energy urban adventure in downtown Palo Alto, on the San Francisco Peninsula! You and your team will set out on foot to solve puzzles, challenges and clues, in a race to raise funds to support teens & adults with disabilities. Online registration will be available in 2012.
Our purpose in convening the first FRED Conference is to create a coalition of professionals, friends, and family members involved in special needs farms and ranches. With over 35 such communities in existence or planned within the United States, it’s time to start sharing ideas.
